EXAMS!!!!

Oh MY GOOdness! My first exams are this week! I am nervous. I need to stop psyching myself out... I've had two migraines this weekend. I am currently down loading a Jeff Foxworthy video to make me laugh and get my mid off of my stresses. *fingers crossed that it works*

I am going to drive out to visit my family tomorrow. I HAVE to see Binks before they leave!!!! I miss that little pooper :) Oh and of course to see the people in my family... hehe I think I am going to introduce them to Boston Pizza. Its kinda like Canada's version of a Red Robin/Richie's Diner/Yardhouse all rolled into one. They have the tastiest yam fries :) Not sure what we'll do after that, maybe go to the zoo... or find a movie theater. I can't be out too late though... I have to make sure I get in some more studying.

OH! Yeah, Good news! I scored a 95% on my last makeup assignment!!!! I was so excited!!! I guess that is further proof that I need to stop freaking myself out... :) Plus I will be working on Lauren. Easy Peazy, lemon squeezy!

Oh... and I am not saying much, but I have been talking to a new friend via facebook and the phone. He's really cool and sounds like fun. Hopefully I can meet him after school is finished... or sooner :)

Welp, my show is just about done downloading... More soon!

I need to blow off steam...

Okay... Other than the fact that it would mean my family would be leaving, I am ready for the olympics to be over. I am tired. I can't sleep until about 2:00am every night because of the dumb show that they play every night a block from my place. AND ITS THE SAME SHOW! It doesn't change from night to night. I can now say the lines the announcer is going to say before he says them. The loud whistling and the obnoxious people are driving me nuts.

I stayed late to work on a photoshop project due this week. (It looks awesome BTW) I finally left school at 7:15 pm. So I had already been in the building for about 10 hours. I was tired, greasy, hungry and sporting a major headache. I caught the bus and all was fine there. On my way home, I stopped at a place called Red Burrito to pick up dinner. The family in front of me were 5 kinds of stupid. They didn't know what a fajita was, they didn't know what mole sauce was, so they wanted to sample... this place doesn't do samples. But I think because the server was so frustrated with them she gave them a taste of the mole sauce. (oh by the way, this place is set up like a subway. You pick what tortilla you want and then you choose meat and toppings. ) So anyway, they finally figure out what they want, keep in mind they've been standing there since before I walked in, and then go on with their "oh now whose is that?" questions... honey, if you can't remember what you ordered two seconds ago then move and let me through. Geez! The last person in their group was finally picking her toppings and the conversation went like this:

Server: Mild or spicy salsa?
Dumb girl: Yes
Server: No, mild or spicy?
Dumb girl: yes
Me to Dumb girl: She's asking if you want hot or mild salsa!
Dumb girl: Oh, um the hot stuff....(she debates in her head) yeah, the hot stuff.
Me: *rolls eyes*

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!! By the time they all figured out what they were eating and were sitting down it was about 15 mins. It took me seriously 3 mins to tell them what I wanted and then pay.

So, I get to the front gate of my building and I have to dig in the pocket of my backpack for my keys. I'm standing there riffling and these two guys walk up and ask where a certain building is... I didn't know. So I just pointed them to the left and mumbled "that way". I have no idea if I was right, but I didn't care.
I finally get in and am waiting for the elevator and these three little Mexican women walk up. Just as they do the elevator dings and opens. There was a couple inside, but they were so concerned about going first they almost knock over the couple trying tot out. When the couple had finally escaped, I just walked in and nearly pummeled one of the women. I told them "generally you wait for the person who called the elevator to get on first. " Well then they start yackity yackin' in spanish. All I could remember of spanish right then was the word for shut up. So I said it and then said "its also generally a good idea not to talk badly about a person while they're there. " The looks on their faces were priceless. I had no idea what they were saying but apparently it was about me.

I am now through with my rant. I'm gonna go continue to cool off, maybe watch a good movie and try to sleep. Wish me luck with the next two weeks.

Late night blogging...

Today was a very eventful day.
This morning we had life drawing. But instead of drawing naked people all morning, our professor took us bowling at a little place near my apartment. We were to split the class in half and one group would bowl and the other group would draw them bowling and then switch when they had bowled 10 frames. It was so fun! Their bowling only has 5 pins and a tiny ball with no holes for your fingers. It was kinda strange, but I still managed a strike :)
After that, I went home for lunch and then went to the makeup room to get ready for our afternoon assignment/exam.
I was paired up with Dana. She has an awesome face to work on! She has really good skin and her eyes are fun to put makeup on because they look good with any color. I think I did okay on the assignment. We shall see.
After school I came home for a little while and freshened up and changed into a better outfit and then when back to the school cafe.
The school hosted a karaoke party for all who wanted to go. It was fun as first. Then people *namely the actors* were getting drunk and just screaming into the microphone and then it was just annoying. The actors are annoying anyway, but give them cheap beer and you're asking for trouble. My friend Leah and I were going to do a song, but as soon as the actors would finish one song, they would just stay on stage and insist they do another. There was supposed to be an organized way for everyone to have a turn, but the guy in charge didn't have the cajones to tell the drunk actresses no.
Okay enough about that.
I left the party a little early and walked to the bus stop to catch the 20 bus back to my place. I was standing there and there was a business guy standing there waiting too. He started talking to me about the buses and asked if I had seen the 5 bus yet. I said "nope, I just got here" I felt like saying um duh... I just walked up and there haven't been any buses. He also felt it important that I know he was in finances. Yeah, not sure why. My bus pulled up and thankfully he was waiting for a different one. As I was walking toward the doors of the bus, a guy walking the opposite direction did a double take and said "wow, you're very pretty" I was kinda surprised by him, but I managed to say thank you. When I got on the bus and sat down I just smiled to myself. What a day.

I'm exhausted and I still need to wash my face... so good night!
