Drag Queens and Breaded Chicken...

Okay... One of my most favorite makeups I did during term 2 was the drag makeups. I loved the way my design turned out. I have gained a love for creating face charts (a design for makeup). Its a wonderful thing. Seriously! Who knew being prepared would be so.. so... convenient! I feel like when I have the design in mind and on paper, it goes A LOT smoother.
Anyways! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the photo shoot. My model was my friend, Erin, because I couldn't find a guy that was brave enough to play.

Okay... Now, breaded chicken.
I, unfortunately, had a little bit of a migraine on Friday so I didn't go to school. I spent all day sleeping and had PB and J for dinner. (don't worry there is a point to this...) Saturday, I slept in, then went to Sephora to replace the moisturizer I am running out of. By the time I got home, my head was buzzing and I had absolutely zero gumption to go to the grocery store. Some might say that my priorities are a little skewed, but I find nothing wrong with choosing spehora over food. ;) But, when it came time to eat dinner I had no game plan. I did have eggs, flour, nilla wafers, potatoes, frozen chicken, and green beans. I experimented...
I made a crust for the chicken using nilla wafers, garlic, salt, a little steak seasoning, and black pepper. I took the chicken and dipped in flour, then in an egg wash and then into the nilla wafer mixture. I baked it in the oven for 20 minutes and paired it with potatoes and green beans. It was a spectacular combination of flavors. It was that coveted salty and sweet flavor. It was one of the best things ever!!!

I have become a sort of a foodie and I have no idea when it happened, but there you go.

I other news... My Momma is coming to visit me at the end of June! I am so excited! I have a week off then, so we are going to go see the sights. I'm counting down the days!

That's all for now... xoxoxoxo
